Confused thoughts fought for attention in her head, flickering back and forth before she got the chance to focus in on any one of them. After a while, though, she made herself stop trying to figure out what was happening-- stop trying to gain control. So, she thought of it like this-- she was in a movie. Only, instead of watching, she was experiencing it first-hand, like she was there. The whole ordeal was quite a few things, all jumbled up

:Prologue:Screams echoed off of nearly every wall in the building. Heart pounding, a single figure dashed down one of the hallways, clothing spattered with blood, brown hair matted like it hadn't been cared for in days. As he ran, a large figure shot out of one of the doors, breaking down the wooden barrier like it was merely a toothpick. Jaws parted, the beast made to clamp down upon the figure's shoulder-- only to be met with a sharp blade being stabbed upward, right through the bottom of its muzzle, protruding now through the head. The long, curved blade was removed from its target with a sickening slicing noise. The figure continued on as if the wh:Prologue:
